A wonderful Year 2013

I would like to personally thank everyone for encouraging me to continue to what I love to do . This past year was truly amazing for me. I had so many opportunities to make someone happy by something I love to do.

Through out this year I had the pleasure of being a very small part in many weddings, the birth of a child, a special thank you to a neighbor that had helped a fellow neighbor through some very rough times, a few women that haven't connected with each other in years and reunited at their high school reunion,a young man who is very dear to my heart was in the military stationed in Afghanistan I had the pleasure of recreating his company badge on a few items from his mother, A newly engaged couple, many colleges with special personalized items on the glass that had great meaning to the recipient, the celebration of a young women becoming 21, a women who fought breast cancer and WON ! This is why I love doing what I do. Your stories are what I love the most.

There is one particular glass that I will always remember. A husband had called me and said He needed a glass special made for his wife. Their anniversary is in a few days and he wanted something for her to remember the day they got married. He was so eager to have this done for her. He said he wanted it to be perfect and wanted their wedding date on it with their names and white roses. I painted it and he came to pick it up . He was thrilled at how it turned out, He knew his wife was going to love it. A few month ago he had passed away very suddenly at a very young age. I will cherish the time we spoke, He was a man that was so kind and thoughtful and had something made to show his wife how much he loved her . The glass is pictured below. I thank him for allowing me to be a very small part of his anniversary.

There is a story to every one of designs. I love to hear all of them it inspires me to create a one of kind gift from someones heart. See I don't just paint glassware I paint memories for you and for me!

I put so much thought into ever glass I design. I guess I am a perfectionist when it comes to my work. I would never give someone something I am not 100 % proud of. IF that means redoing a glass a few times that is what I do . Sure I'm losing time and money but I expect the customer to be happy with their purchase.

I look forward to what 2014 brings , I look forward to many many more stories.
